Very happy customers

Having had a bad experience with an earlier refurbishment project, we did a huge amount of research before contacting Rebecca. We were instantly impressed by our initial contacts and her design to reconstruct our tired, dingy and overcrowded kitchen and utility rooms. She listened to our feelings about the old kitchen, our ideas about materials and our desire to have a ‘forever’ kitchen. We were very much part of the design process. She also brought many new ideas that we had not thought of and was not afraid to suggest structural changes that we had not even considered. Her knowledge of the materials, appliances and techniques required to achieve the desired outcome meant that our final product differed from the design only in minor details. Project management was high on our agenda and we were not disappointed. We had regular contact throughout the project. Rebecca and her team worked professionally, efficiently and flexibly, leaving us with access to essential services for almost all of the time. Ongoing decisions about fittings and colours were fine tuned in good time meaning work progressed without interruption. Rebecca brought the project in on budget aside from a few extras that we had asked for. The project completed on time. What we now have is a kitchen/utility area which feels bigger, better lit, easier to use and is a much more pleasant place to be. There is a feeling of robustness, quality and attention to detail. We look forward to enjoying it for many years to come. We would wholeheartedly recommend Coulby Interiors, it will be our first port of call should we have future projects.

Absolutely thrilled with the results!

We recently had the pleasure of working with Rebecca on an extensive renovation project, and we are absolutely thrilled with the results! Rebecca created thoughtful designs for each room that perfectly captured our vision, while also introducing ideas we would never have considered. Now, I can’t imagine our spaces any other way! The entire process was transparent and collaborative. Rebecca’s team—Lloyd, Alex, Jeff, Reese, and Mike—were all excellent: professional, kind, and attentive to detail. Rebecca's beautiful designs included paint colours that we would never have found on our own, truly transforming our home into a welcoming, functional, and stylish haven. Our kitchen and bathrooms are truly exceptional! What could have been a stressful experience turned out to be an enjoyable one. Another excellent project delivered!

We have now used Rebecca and her team on four separate projects, each of which has been completed to an exemplary standard. From Rebecca's excellent design to the quality work delivered by her team of craftsmen, everything just comes together seamlessly. The fact that we are now on our fourth project with Coulby Interiors speaks volumes for our confidence in what they deliver. Over the course of several years they have transformed a house we lived in into our home; a place that we positively enjoy occupying! I would unhesitatingly recommend Rebecca to anyone wanting to transform their living space.

I cannot recommend Rebecca more highly

I cannot recommend Rebecca more highly. From start to finish she balanced a genuine desire to bring to life our goals for the project, with great communication, pragmatic project management, and delivery of craftsmanship and excellence in the finish. The advantage of having one person act as designer, trade and materials procurement, and project manager totally de-stressed the project for my wife and I. The quality of the work by her team is outstanding and matches perfectly the original design. The trades people were also polite, respectful and flexible. I always felt Rebecca took our budget seriously and acted with a diligence as if she were spending her own money, openly sharing necessary variations throughout on a “no surprises” basis. We ended up on budget with a beautiful new kitchen diner. We are now thinking about how her team can help us with our next project.

Highly original design

When we approached Rebecca about our kitchen project, we’d identified some key features we wanted to see in a new kitchen, dining, living space. We’d seen some concepts and design ideas that we really liked but had no idea how to bring them together into a coherent brief, let alone a finished design that we’d love living with! Rebecca let us talk, while she listened. She introduced design ideas to us to help her understand what we like and didn’t like. She took the concepts that we’d found, married them with what she learned from our discovery meetings and some of the ques she got from our personal possessions. The design that she came up with showed that she’d listened to us, understood us, but also helped us develop our own ideas. Very little changed from the initial rendering she presented to the final design that was executed. A major kitchen renovation feels like giving your house a heart transplant and is almost as stressful. It’s unavoidable mess and disruption for weeks. Rebecca and her team though always did their best to minimise this, while they got on with the job of executing our design. Nothing was too much trouble and they always managed to deliver the small incremental changes we came up with as the project came together. What we got at the end of all of this was a highly original, very ‘us’ design that looked almost exactly like the original renderings Rebecca presented. Our kitchen is unique to us. It doesn’t look like anything you’ll find in a kitchen catalogue or something that even a bespoke kitchen designer is likely to come up with. It reflects our character, what we like to do, how we entertain and how we want to live in the heart of our home. We love it.

We would wholeheartedly recommend Coulby Interiors

Rebecca was an absolute delight to work with. She spent time getting to know myself and my husband and familiarized herself with our home prior to creating two brilliant bathroom designs for us to chose from. We live in a very old, listed, thatched property and needed a company that had experience of some of the particular challenges uneven floors, and walls and very old plumbing present. Rebecca was always on hand to talk to throughout the project and visited our 'site' regularly with updates. Her excellent communication was so reassuring for us and while she managed the whole installation she would always ensure we were happy throughout. She has a fantastic eye for detail and created a beautifully designed bathroom; the end result was all that we had hoped for. Throughout the project her team, were always considerate; they worked to very high standards and kept the disruption to our household to an absolute minimum. We would wholeheartedly recommend Coulby Interiors and would definitely use them again in the future.

We cannot rate Rebecca highly enough

We cannot rate Rebecca and her team highly enough for their work. Rebecca designed a modern extension, kitchen and dining space completely changing a small cramped kitchen and old conservatory into our dream space. Everything was exactly as you would want it to be for project management and build from day one. As complete newbies to any sort of renovation Rebecca made the whole process smooth, stress-free and most of all successful. She managed to take our vague and unformed notions of what we would like "blue, with an island" and turn it into a space that perfectly matches our needs and style. She listened to all our requests and helped work them into the final design. and more importantly let us know where things would not work and suggested far more practical alternatives. Her team were all great - highly competent, friendly, and knowledgeable, and as we were still living in house as they removed the kitchen and knocked down exterior walls, made sure every effort was taken for us to have a comfortable and livable space in the meantime.

We absolutely love it

We asked Rebecca for the impossible - not only to completely transform our en-suite, but we wanted more space AND more storage. We had a nondescript bathroom, a vanity unit that held next to nothing, and when the shower started leaking, it was the final straw. Enter Rebecca, her ideas and vision, and her ability to translate our initially inarticulate requirements and definite dislikes, into beautiful design options, maximising both form and function. What we wanted, and now have, is a haven; a calm, sophisticated, light and open space, with a spa like feeling, but which also works exceptionally hard, with masses of discreet storage keeping everything to hand but out of sight. It looks fabulous. Rebecca absolutely nailed it. Her team absolutely delivered it. We absolutely love it.
