The Brief
This project was to create an elegant bathroom with a copper bath as a striking central feature. The design must incorporate muted, natural tones with a feature wall, creating a luxurious and relaxing space.

About The Project

My client wished to enlarge the property’s existing bathroom in order to create a luxurious space in which to relax in. In order to accommodate this, the design utilised the space outside the bathroom on the landing, currently occupied by a cupboard. By removing this and repositioning the doorway into the bathroom, a new larger bathroom layout was achievable.
Initially some upgrading of the sub floor in the new bathroom was required to accommodate new drainage and prepare for the finished flooring material.
The centre piece of the bathroom was a traditional copper roll top bath with matching freestanding tap and mixer. It was important that the flooring choice complemented the copper bath both in colour and design. To this end a monochrome patterned tile was chosen which provided structure and enhanced the presentation of the copper bath.
Modern-design cistern and basin units in natural tones worked well with the overall tone of the space in colour and material and a distinctive feature wall colour complimented
