Design

Rebecca will work with you to create a truly bespoke interior and exterior design for your new extension that matches both your brief and your budget.

It is so important at the beginning of a project to give enough attention to a detailed interior design in order to avoid fundamental errors being made and discovered too far into a project, and potential overspend on building additional space that may not have been needed had the interior space been properly designed initially.  This is why we design the exterior in conjunction with the interior resulting in one unified new space.

Rebecca's designs will allow you to see your new interior space in plans, elevations and beautifully rendered graphics with every detail visible down to the views from new windows and doors, furniture, colour palettes, and even paintings on the walls. You will be able to see how seamlessly your new space will connect with your existing interior.

Once you are happy with the design of your new rooms, we can focus on the architectural and structural work. Coulby Interiors will take care of everything. Working closely with our preferred architects and structural engineers we will produce all plans, elevations, and structural reports required for planning applications and building controls submission and approval, and will complete this process on your behalf. We also have extensive experience working on listed buildings, buildings within conservation areas, and period properties. We will ensure your new extension is sympathetic to the original building and can liaise on your behalf with your heritage officer to obtain the required consent when needed.

Coulby Interiors has long established trade relationships with both local and national suppliers and can offer you an almost unlimited choice of high quality products to suit your every need, together with personalised advice and selection, based upon what we know you will like. Rebecca will advise you on the most suitable products and materials to meet your requirements and budget so you can rest assured that you have made the best possible decisions. All samples and imagery will be provided, and we can input these directly into your design so you can see how all products and materials will work together in your new extension.

Build

Our dedicated team of expert builders, electricians, plumbers, carpenters, decorators, and flooring fitters work extremely hard to realise each design to perfection. Most of our team have been with us for many years and some for over a decade.

Our work regularly includes entirely bespoke, handmade, hand painted built-in cabinets, storage, or furnishings. A huge amount of care and attention to detail is taken on every single aspect of our build and installation service, all of which is fully project managed by Rebecca and Thomas.

Our strong belief is that continued and detailed communication with our clients is the key to a smooth-running project and achieving the highest of standards. Many of our clients are not locally based, some even abroad, and yet can feel safe in the knowledge that they will always be kept fully informed throughout the entire process.
