The Brief
This bathroom forms part of the master suite in a full renovation of a Georgian manor house. With three full-height sash windows and sweeping countryside views, the room offered incredible natural light, but also presented the challenge of balancing elegance with functionality within the existing architecture.About The Project
"The colour palette was kept deliberately light and understated. My client wanted soft greens and blues, so I chose a delicate blue-grey for the wall panelling, paired with vintage-style square shower tiles in a varied, tonal glaze. These touches bring a gentle sense of texture and movement to the space without overwhelming it.
About The Project
"To add contrast and warmth, I introduced a rich, dark wood-effect floor and a black iron pendant light — simple, bold elements that give the room depth and grounding. The curved vanity unit with a marble top and an offset quadrant shower both soften the lines and bring a fluid, organic feel to the space. All pipework is concealed, maintaining clean sightlines and allowing the detailing to shine.""
